Writ Filed Seeking Travel Ban on Yunus and Other Advisors

A writ petition has been filed in the High Court seeking a directive for an investigation and a travel ban against 24 individuals, including Dr. Muhammad Yunus, former Chief Advisor of the interim government, over the decision to cancel the measles vaccination program.

On Sunday (May 17), Supreme Court lawyer Barrister M. Ashraful Islam filed the writ in the relevant branch of the High Court. The writ describes the process of transferring the measles vaccination program from state management to the private sector as a ‘malicious criminal activity’.
